I sat with these for a long time and after researching some existing magazines following these topics (photos below), I decided that I wanted to create a food magazine. I have been a vegetarian for over a year now so any recipes will have to follow that but I am not sure if I should make the magazine exclusively vegetarian as it narrows the target audience quite a bit. I could not find any vegetarian magazines with an aesthetic that I liked but I do know of a vegan chef names Gaz Oakley (aka avant-garde vegan) that has a very strong aesthetic that I appreciate (photos below). Since he just released a book, I thought I would use some of the photos or his YouTube videos for inspiration with the photography.
